Since that video was released he has put one of the new Magpul Zhukov handguards on it. The problem with the 7.62x54R Veprs is that here aren't any quality extended mags available for it so you're pretty much stuck with the 5 round mags.
I'll just say I was extremely impressed with how the rifle handled. It had less recoil than an AK in my opinion. It was really accurate from kneeling and standing, well balanced and issue free. What was more impressive is that we were using old spam can Russian ammo. It was no where near as heavy as it looked even with the wood furniture. Lets just say I was looking at a C39, but even though this costs a few hundred more, I wouldn't need another caliber. My buddy did have one 10 round magazine. I thought it was factory. Really impressive QUALITY on the rifle.
I am resisting buying one, but it has filtered to the TOP of my gun wish list.
