I hate hearing stories like that, but we need to. We need to be reminded that the "it won't happen here/to me" way of thinking is flawed. Evil isn't contained by zip codes or neighborhoods. It can rear it's head anywhere at any time.
Better to be prepared if it does.
Anyone here familiar with Mary Shepard's story? If not, look her up.
