What do you think of the 22 TCM? I haven't heard anybody having one.
We will be doing some gun reviews. Would you like to be part of a review with the 22TCM?
I do not think I am qualified to do a review. I took delivery one week ago. I ran one box of the 22's and 1 box of the 9MM. I had one failed to load. It was one the very first cartage in the magazine. I think I may not had it seated all the way back. I had no failures to fire or eject.
Changing the barrels is not difficult, however, it takes me several minutes. You only have to change the barrel and the spring. Everything else is the same for both calibers.
The good!. The 22 TCM has very little recoil. The weapon weighs 2.6 lbs. empty. The is a very visible fireball from the barrel even at midday in the sunlight. The 22's run about $20 for a box of 50. However, just change to the 9MM for practice. No need to change sight adjustments. Groupings at 25/30 feet are consistent. The full size 1911 model comes with a 17 round magazine. I have since ordered 2 more from RedDot.
Less than good. I will at some point change out the front sight. It is just a black blade. I painted a white dot on it, but it did not help that much.
The last magazine of 9MM was shot from 30 feet using a rolled-up towel for a rest. All 17 was in a 4 inch grouping with most rounds fired within 1 second from the previous shot.
I am well pleased with the gun.
