In the ammunition section I started a thread on short barrel 9mm. There's a link to a YouTube channel with a guy that does pretty good reviews of as much 9mm ammo that he can find out of a 3" barrel. He really likes the hst from federal. That's what I'm planning on sticking with. I know that doesn't really answer your question about feeding.. But the federal hst came out better than the critical defense and pretty much every other round he tested.
I'm sticking with that, and just mixing the defense rounds in with RDA ammo for testing. Do one round at the bottom to make sure the last round will chamber, two next to each other in the middle to make sure they'll feed one right after the other, and one on top to make sure when you pull that slide back, everything goes perfect. That way instead of going through 20 rounds to test, you can do 4, or 8.
This concludes my half asleep morning Post...
