WTF is this?! - ssphoto - 02-07-2015 I was at the antique show over at the Lake County Fairgrounds today. Didn't buy anything, but on my way out, I spotted this. One person asked what the "garand" cost and the vendor said $1000. What the bleep is this thing? It was in pieces and obviously needs work. RE: WTF is this?! - ssphoto - 02-08-2015 I spoke to a friend and showed my pictures and he confirmed what you've all said. Training aid; larger in scale for easier visuals to a group of people. He figured $1000 for a "gun" in this condition was reasonable, as they're quite rare. Obviously they're never intended to be fired.
