Newtown... - BelieveIn308 - 01-12-2015

I have read that some of the Newtown mass shooting parents are suing the school board for poor security.

I ask you this, how can you provide security in a "Gun Free Zone"? When these shooting occur, don't people normally call 911 for and "ARMED" response team (the good guys, you know the Police)?

Sorry, but if you want Gun Free Zones (I call them "Sitting Duck Zones"), then you must accept that ZERO security can be provided for the victims in these zones, and that the people in Sitting Duck Zones are just going to be casualties.

To a certain extent I guess this reduces the gene pool of idiots, as those that want GFZ's of course will cease to be alive. Maybe this is natures way of getting rid of the stupid...

Well Kentucky may be line up for changes in this.

Indiana is running a bill right now that you would not need a permit to carry there.

Lawsuit states the teachers didn't have the proper training and the policy in place at the time couldn't work (i.e. classroom doors only locked from the outside).

You can read all 66 pages of the lawsuit if you like: click here

What is proper "training" for an unarmed teacher trapped in a classroom? Does the teacher beg for mercy? Does the teacher kneel for the head shot? Does the teacher try to attack an armed assailant?

Sorry, but the unarmed have two options... Run or counter attack. Being they were trapped in a school room, they basically had one option, be victims and die. Had the teachers been armed, the outcome may have been different, but baring that, the result would be the same.

I guess they probably were thinking an unarmed rent-a-cop would be sufficient. Deluding themselves.

And we see how option two worked for France.

In the case of France it would be "Stop! I said, 'Stop!' If you do not stop, I will raise my white flag."
