Mine is plain Jane. No lights - No optics.

I have an Inforce APL made for pistols. It has a great output and is nice and slim profile. It will also fit on any standard quad rail on yoir rifle. Give Inforce a look. They also make rifle dedicated light.

Lights? Nah, I don't want to be the target. Lights attract fire. Why negate home field advantage? I have an EOTech 522 and Vortex magnifier (3x) on mine.

"be sure of your target and what is beyond it" comes to mind. to each their own, I suppose.

Still, I can see a light on a handgun. But a rifle? Sorry, why do you need a light on a rifle? It's not good beyond say 30 feet, but it lights you up as a target for 2-300 yards. If you are interested in night fighting, a Thermal scope is best. In a house a light on a handgun could be useful. Save the rifle for daylight hours.

No lights on mine, just a simple reflex sight. Don't use it for home defense though.

As far as needing a light for home defense, I feel perfectly content with using a light switch. They would have already triggered the motion lights as well.
