High Quality Multi Use Flashlights - Brian S - 11-28-2014 Has anyone had any experience with ThruNite Flashlights? I was looking at a few on their website and YouTube demo's on their model Catapult V5. I'm familiar with "Cree" LED technology for home and commercial use. "Cree" LED's are used in ThruNite's, also in most quality name brand LED handheld and tactical light's. I'm just not familiar with the name ThruNite. I'm curious about durability, performance, part's and service if ever needed. They have few lights that really look awesome and seem to have everything I'd ever need (want) in a flashlight. Model TT-5 and the Catapult V5 are the ones. ThruNite YouTube Demo Cree Applications RE: High Quality Multi Use Flashlights - The Great Oz - 11-29-2014 Don't know about that one. I have a streamlight ProTac 2L. I love it. Very bright, 3 settings, Bright, strobe and low. The low is great when I'm in my back yard moving a sprinkler and I don't want the entire neighborhood knowing I'm out there. Bright is really bright. RE: High Quality Multi Use Flashlights - Fireman - 11-29-2014 The Streamlight Task Light 2L is a nice small light. It has 2 settings high and low. I have one and like it a lot. It also has a lanyard for around your wrist if you want one. RE: High Quality Multi Use Flashlights - Brian S - 12-07-2014 Since nobody seems to have any info on ThruNite and I really have no real need to add to my light collection Call me old fashion but I'll stick with my tried and trusted LED Mini Mags for EDC. Thanks for everyones input! RE: High Quality Multi Use Flashlights - XdEric - 12-07-2014 Streamlight guy here too. Forget which one but its one of the more compact one. Its still super bright. RE: High Quality Multi Use Flashlights - jfergus7 - 12-10-2014 I have always liked the Streamlight but haven't forked over the money for one yet but think I will be in the future. Right now I am using a 5.11 and love it. Thing is super bright and built like a tank! RE: High Quality Multi Use Flashlights - Brian S - 12-19-2014 Sounds like Streamlight gets award. RE: High Quality Multi Use Flashlights - bradberry - 12-19-2014 Streamlight does have nice lights for various items and they are priced right. |
