RE: YES PLEASE - BelieveIn308 - 07-26-2014

Can we even own Class III in Illinois? I thought they were all banned?

Huh

RE: YES PLEASE - mikereddot - 07-27-2014

Probably just as well, I don't think I could afford the ammo... I can barely afford my shooting addiction now.

RE: YES PLEASE - Ringo3632 - 09-24-2014

That would be amazing to give a good run or two. But I have to admit I don't think I could afford the ammo at all either!

I'd still take one though if it was allowed...

Sometimes you just have to hate the People's Republic of Illinois... How dare they protect me from needing a second mortgage to support my shooting addiction.

RE: YES PLEASE - RJDSRT - 10-03-2014

Illinois ...Tear that wall down

RE: YES PLEASE - jfergus7 - 10-29-2014

That thing is just awesome! I want one. To bad I can't purchase it using my Wisconsin summer home address.

RE: YES PLEASE - Brian S - 10-29-2014

I just happened to watch the movie "The Hurt Locker" the other day. There's a scene in it where a Barrett M82xx is used to take out a few taliban snipers.... very cool

Another great thing about Wisconsin. Nothing like hearing a full auto UZI cracking off 3 mags in a row. Thumbs up

RE: YES PLEASE - BelieveIn308 - 07-02-2015

Do you think that now with the recent SCOTUS ruling that States have to recognize licenses issued by other states, that this will nullify Illinois laws and force Illinois to recognize Silencers and Full Automatic weapons licenses issued by the ATF? Afterall, the Federal license should nullify laws in Illinois against them...

It should, but it won't.

Similar to POTUS, Cook County approves laws showing what local government will do to fight Federal laws by banning particular weapons that are only a fraction of a percent used or owned illegally.....not registered, no FOID, gang violence. I'll add the most well known sporting .22 rifles are a of these bans. I think we all agree laws that were in place prior to the more recent ones in NE Illinois should be enforced rather than punishing the sportsman, competitor or any other law abiding American citizen.

I think all guns laws should be removed, and replaced with one. Commit a crime with a gun, and we triple the sentence of the original crime without the gun. (Triple is an example) Then stick to these sentence.

In Illinois, I can sport a samurai sword on my back, and that's is legal. I'll get funny looks, but it's not against the law. I take my 3 inch Hoffner out of my pocket and use is as a for a crime, then that becomes a weapon, and that is illegal. To me that makes sense.
