Russian made Molot Veprs banned from import - rwhite135 - 06-25-2017
Molot has now joined Kalashnikov Concern on the Treasury Department's list of companies banned from importing their products. The ban affects both Vepr rifles and shotguns. This is quite the downer because they are arguably the best AK/RPK pattern rifles and shotguns on the market for under $1000. It also insures that the prices of ones already in the country are going to skyrocket, just as Saiga prices did when Kalashnikov Concern was banned.

Bummer... I have a VEPR in 7.62x54R, it's a really fine rifle, and I was thinking I wanted one in .308x51. Maybe by next year, the false Russian crap will all blow over, and Trump will have cleaned out all the democrat holdovers.
