Illinois Democrats Propose New Gun-Related Taxes - StJude - 01-31-2017

In an attempt to address the ongoing budget problem in Illinois, Sen. Too Hutchinson decided to tax Illinois residents’ Second Amendment rights, and by extension, their right to safety.

Under SA 2, a 5% tax would be imposed on any membership or access fee for gun clubs, shooting ranges, hunt clubs, training classes and match fees. Not only is this an abhorrent tax on your Second Amendment rights, it also requires that any of those places/people to register with the state and pay an annual fee of $75 just so that they can offer their service or membership with the 5% tax added.

Oh' never mind, they just proved they can still come up with stupid ideas. If we can't take it away from you or restrict you from it in some major fashion, then we will tax the $HIT out of it. Then you will not want to use it and then it, in their mind they have a GOTCHA!

Mark Levin suggested tonight that if Democratic politicians are going to defy law and call for sanctuary cities and states to protect invaders then Republican politicos should declare their jurisdictions 2nd Amendment Free Zones in which gun owners are no longer persecuted.

And that would not defy anything but State Law or maybe a couple of areas of Federal Law depending on what type of gun was in the 2nd Amendment Free Zone.
