Only 57 percent of doctors say they'll be taking new patients insured by exchange plans next year, according to a survey from SERMO, a social network for physicians.

Brittany M. Hughes of the Media Research Center says that's down about four percent from last year, when 61 percent of physicians reported the same.
"Even fewer physicians say that they're taking new Medicaid patients," Hughes tells OneNewsNow.
More doctors dropping out creates "numerous problems," she says, because the insurance plans offered are "dropping like flies" while premiums keep rising.
