Let Freedom Ring as June 23 will go down in history as their day of independence. Since that is what they voted for! Interesting times ahead for the Brit's. It will be a treat to get/hear British Gunner's take on this.

It's great news. You think the UN is bad, try the EU. So many rules and laws from unelected and unaccountable bureaucrats. Britain has its sovereignty back, and its borders back. Push hard enough and the people will push back.

Even the British if pushed enough, will rear up on the hind legs and say enough is enough. While they will surrender some of their freedoms, they have taken back control of their own destiny.
We have always had a special bond with the English, even if in a few days we will be celebrating our Freedom from them. As Churchill said, we are people separated by a common language.
Three cheers for the British choosing Liberty over PC socialism of the continent!

Great as it may seem, those that voted and are now "shocked in disbelief" that it actually happened, should not complain if their investments tank, or can't get jobs over in Germany, etc. I support leaving I guess, but don't cry over the ramificiations.
I think Germany and France say, "OK, you want to leave.....leave now!"

Brits work 50 hours per week while the socialists countries work 30 hours per week and take 3 months vacation per year. So they can do that the EU sucks 5 billion $ from Brits each year.
I think the Brits will be just fine, thank you very much.
