Hey, by the way, something new... you know that circle in the knives? We are going to customize them with whatever picture or logo you want in there. There are two sides, so you can pick two different ones. We are working out the details and price for them, but you very well may get it for free if you buy a Brian Hoffner knife from us.

If you buy one before we get it worked out, tell them at the front desk, that you want Lisa to put a picture or two in the knife.

You can email me at lisa@rdarms.com the picture or image in jpg or png/ Just make sure it is a nice resolution and not too much SMALL detail so you can make out what it says.

Sound good?

I just picked one up last week. I saw some round pieces in the display cases. Are those possible inserts? Also, Andrew was showing me his own and how easily it opened. I dropped a small bit of oil and that helped, but I was impressed on how easily his opened with a flick of the wrist. Can I bring mine by for a tweak sometime?

Those are the pre-made ones from Hoffner. The ones I am talking about featuring are the ones that you give me an image (like a picture of your dog or something) and I make the insert for your knife.

Yes, bring it in for tweaking. If it is the Hoffner one, it probably needs the screw loosened to make it come open easier. BUT, it is best to bring it in to have it evaluated first, just to make sure. I would hate to tell you it is just a little thing, and needing to have it repaired, etc. Confused

The Beast doesn't open it is a fixed blade.

RE: Hoffner Knives- THE BEAST!!! - LisaJarratt - 01-22-2016

Yes, the beast is a fixed blade. I figured he was talking about one of the folding knives.

Yea....sorry to diverge off the main topic on this thread. Thanks for the info, Lisa.
