I tinker with the thought of doing this one day. Making the house on wheels, makes it more appealing. The cost of trailers is way out there! But with good plans, time, and tools... this is doable. I have no idea what the legal restrictions are to tow one of these... but I think it would be good to live on less. What do you think?

Here is one company that makes these. Not endorsing, just an example.

Here is some free plans on how to build one.

I've been watching various sources on YouTube and Facebook around this. In fact I found out that some places on AirBnB offer tiny homes. One thing I have not seen a lot of talk about is WHERE to put your tiny home. No doubt, those folks probably own the land they live on, or have friends that let them "squat" there, but that would be a major obstacle to figure out. I'd probably stick with a typical RV or mobile home and stay in a park if I chose to do so. Better yet, travel the country and stay in mutiple places!

Would enjoy it and one day plan on doing it. The only addition is I would like a large garage (for hobbies).
