I have a yugo underfolder. And the but stock joint is wearing down. So if you make contact at the top if the but stock it will start to collapse it. Are you able to replace it with other types of underfolders ie Romanian ?

I'm not really sure. I've never been much of a fan of under folders. Ask over on AK Operators Union Local 47-74's Facebook page. Someone there will probably know the answer.
