Mosquito Opinions - jfergus7 - 09-19-2015 Alright aside from ssphoto does anyone else have any opinions on this hand gun? I was at a shop today looking at them and really tempted to pick one up. I have a 11 year old daughter that has started to show an interest in learning how to shoot so I would like to pick up something so I can take her to the range and teach her. Anyone ever had kids shoot it and how was the experience? If you didn't like it do you have any other suggestions? I looked at a few other 22's but several of them seemed a lot heavier and my daughter is definitely on the small size for her age so I need something that she can handle. ssphoto I already know your opinion I read it in another post! LOL RE: Mosquito Opinions - BelieveIn308 - 09-20-2015 I recently wanted a really small, quality 22LR pistol. I went with the Ruger SR22. I did consider the Mosquito, but I liked the Ruger better. My daughters like the S&W 22A a lot. It is a bigger heavier gun, but it has almost zero recoil and the heft, helps them. It is also very accurate. Mosquito Opinions - jfergus7 - 09-20-2015 I will be sure to check both of those out! Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk RE: Mosquito Opinions - mikereddot - 09-20-2015 I own both. The mosquito is a really nice gun, only problem is it's very finicky. Get the SR22. Here's a video of my daughter shooting it. Her first time shooting today. ![]() Mel's first shots Mosquito Opinions - jfergus7 - 09-20-2015 I will definitely take her to look at the SR22. Thanks!
