Walmart Bans Sale of AR-15s, 7+ Shot-Capacity Shotguns - StJude - 08-26-2015 http://www.grandviewoutdoors.com/guns/walmart-bars-sales-of-ar-15s-self-defense-shotguns/ Slump in AR and semi-auto shotgun sales blamed--nothing to do with, uh, politics.
RE: Walmart Bans Sale of AR-15s, 7+ Shot-Capacity Shotguns - BelieveIn308 - 08-26-2015 The local Walmart by me sells a few shotguns and low end rifles... The guy that clerks the sporting goods counter says that the rifles sit most of the year and fly off the shelf when hunting season starts. As of last Saturday, they still had 4 AR's in the case. The nice thing is our local BiMart which has always carried long guns is now displaying a full case of pistols. RE: Walmart Bans Sale of AR-15s, 7+ Shot-Capacity Shotguns - rwhite135 - 08-27-2015 I was just at a Walmart in Winchester, VA earlier today and they had a S&W M&P with Magpul MOE furniture in that "Lazy Susan" style gunrack of theirs. It was marked down to $600. I'm not an AR guy but I'd have bought it if I had the money. Personally, I don't go to Walmart to buy guns anyway but this is getting ridiculous. I'd still rather shop at Wally World than gender confused Target. It cost me more to change out the trigger and other parts to make the weapon into something I am used to shooting. Although if the price did hit below 500 it might be worth just having a stock AR around the house.. RE: Walmart Bans Sale of AR-15s, 7+ Shot-Capacity Shotguns - rwhite135 - 08-29-2015 They normally go for around $750-800 around here so $600 wasn't a bad price. I figure if it sits there longer it will probably drop again as they clear their inventory due to the stupid policy. RE: Walmart Bans Sale of AR-15s, 7+ Shot-Capacity Shotguns - fromtheplaines - 08-29-2015 The one by me doesn't have any in stock. Even if they did I wouldn't buy them I cant stand that place RE: Walmart Bans Sale of AR-15s, 7+ Shot-Capacity Shotguns - Dutz - 08-29-2015 I don't go into Walmart much. I don't like the vibe of the place. I am hoping Meijer coming to Round Lake Beach is good. RE: Walmart Bans Sale of AR-15s, 7+ Shot-Capacity Shotguns - rwhite135 - 08-29-2015 Where I live, it's either Target or Walmart and I see the latter as the lesser of those two evils. We used to have a couple Super Kmarts but they closed late last year. RE: Walmart Bans Sale of AR-15s, 7+ Shot-Capacity Shotguns - fromtheplaines - 08-29-2015 That sucks |
