As we know here that's not the point. To control people you need them ignorant, poor, and afraid.

Ignorant people will agree to let politicians enact gun control in the name of safety even though at no time does it produce any safety.

And as we also know here the origin of post civil war gun control was about keeping guns from blacks and thus keeping them afraid.

Add to that the "war" on poverty we have been fighting for 50 years is designed to keep people poor. Welfare has not brought a single person out of poverty.

Yet, due to the pervasive ignorance we continue to pour money and time into that which produces nothing - over and over and over and over again.

And the ignorant say yeah.
