Money is only what ever people trust. Make money illegal, and you may end up making any tangible item become currency. I have a feeling that such a scenario could be make firearm become much more valuable....MUHAHAHAHA RE: How to end boom and bust: make cash illegal - Brian S - 05-28-2015 I'm going to estimate that half the money in the United States is already illegal, just not in the same context as the article. RE: How to end boom and bust: make cash illegal - Brian S - 05-28-2015 How much for that gun? 2 sheep, 2 Goats, plus one cow for tax. Yeah, because the issue for poor people is not being able to get at their millions in the bank. RE: How to end boom and bust: make cash illegal - AcilletaM - 05-28-2015 Oh, this one too... Quote:Forgery is impossible, as are robberies. Going cashless is going to stop people from stealing credit card numbers and identities? RE: How to end boom and bust: make cash illegal - fromtheplaines - 05-29-2015 Wow that was a lot of BS, the idea of negative interest here is insane. Maybe there with their social welfare. But if the economy sucks I am not spending money on stupid things. But if we do go cashless how many chickens to get a rem 870 classic trap? RE: How to end boom and bust: make cash illegal - Dutz - 05-29-2015 Did anybody actually need to read past the comment below? Translation: "This way we can take all your money whenever we want" I know liberals are slowly becoming more obvious, but this guy is not even trying to hide it. "held at a government-run bank would give the authorities far better tools to deal with recessions and economic booms" RE: How to end boom and bust: make cash illegal - bradberry - 05-29-2015 Anyone have a Chase account? Guns are a great tool and a valuable investment! http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2015-04-23/largest-bank-america-joins-war-cash RE: How to end boom and bust: make cash illegal - AcilletaM - 05-30-2015 (05-29-2015, 04:56 PM)bradberry Wrote: Anyone have a Chase account? At least stop using the big banks and move to a credit union. Negative interest was brought up earlier and they are accomplishing it through their fees. 0.05% on checking usually won't make up for the monthly fee. RE: How to end boom and bust: make cash illegal - BelieveIn308 - 05-31-2015 More money in electronic form has been stolen than all robberies and theft in the history of the USA. Electronic cash, is far easier to steal than a physical form of cash. Electronic money can be stolen from thousands of miles away. It is far easier to counterfeit. Ask any credit card company their losses on that alone. Electronic theft is not in the millions, but billions every year. The only reason governments favor electronic money is they can tract if and confiscate via taxes more of your money. |
