I used to have a beautiful brass Butterfly knife. Wish they were legal.

Jerry Miculek's daughter, Lena, thinks Butterflys/Balisongs are wonderful. And they make great stocking stuffers, too! (She says they're legal everywhere but Hawaii, Mike.) Check out the below video...

It would be nice to have a better choice of knife to carry. Having a 3 inch limit is not realistic.

From what we learned in class there is no limit to the blade length. The only difference is beyond 3 inches it's considered a deadly weapon so you need a logical reason to have one.

And I know you can own balisong knifes... You just can't carry them from what I was told.. No idea why though. I have a Bradley cutlery mayhem balisong, and I love it!
