Gun Range - javiers007 - 05-10-2015 Has anybody been to the Mcmiller range in Eagle Wisconsin? Good, bad? RE: Gun Range - mikereddot - 05-10-2015 keep reading the forum, there are multiple threads on Mcmiller's. RE: Gun Range - BelieveIn308 - 05-10-2015 McMiller is probably the FINEST range within 100 miles of RDA. It has great shotgun stations, a 25,50 pistol range, a dedicated 22LR plinking range, 100, 200 & 300 rifle ranges, plenty of parking, and a really friendly SRO's. And unless you go on a very busy Saturday or Sunday, there is usually plenty of open stations. They are open 9-5 Thur-Sun now. Around June 1st they will be open Tues-Sun, and soon thereafter everyday. Cost is most reasonable around $22 for an all day pass, $16 if you are not using the 200,300 range. Highly recommended! RE: Gun Range - mikereddot - 05-10-2015 In on of the posts on here, there a bunch of pictures that were posted. I'll be there next weekend. RE: Gun Range - fromtheplaines - 05-10-2015 I hear it is good, but I guess it is under new management and they made the sporting clays course kinda sucky. But I would expect that to change. RE: Gun Range - BelieveIn308 - 05-11-2015 McMiller's sporting clays range is FAR better than any other around. Yes some take a little walking to get too, but they are FAR SUPERIOR to any other range and FAR CHEAPER as well. I could compare them to some of the shitty ranges nearer to the border, but just go there once and you will not even consider the other ranges. Northbrook would be better. Mc Miller's is a good range. But the guy I was speaking to said that they didn't even have a rabbit target at the moment, and the set up was kinda bland. Walking isn't an issue most courses require walking. RE: Gun Range - BelieveIn308 - 05-11-2015 Of course Northbrook is nice, I meant OPEN to the public and not costing an arm and leg... If you consider their set up bland god only knows what you consider better... I am sure there some private clubs around that have great setups.
