RE: Do you love your 1911....this much? - BelieveIn308 - 04-23-2015 Yes... I have a Remington 1911 R1 Enhanced. It is really a quality firearm. If have never had any issues with it through 800 rounds. No FTF's and it has always gone bang. I think it is as accurate as this shooter will ever be. Plus it has classic lines and is easy to maintain. The only draw back is it only holds 8+1. It is heavy, but I love the thing anyway. IHas anyone ever measured the size of a hole the .45ACP puts in a fly? RE: Do you love your 1911....this much? - Freedoms1791 - 04-24-2015 (04-24-2015, 08:11 AM)BelieveIn308 Wrote: hmmm... I think a may have to backup a bit say maybe 30 - 40 yards I think after I hit it the wind from the bullet is blowing the fly away cause it's like it disappears. RE: Do you love your 1911....this much? - ssphoto - 04-24-2015 I like my RIA GI model. Has been nearly flawless. I had a student that was shooting an R1, and was 3 inches below the bullseye, and was thinking it was the gun. I had never shot one, but wanted one, and shot 3 shot in a quarter size group within the size of a quarter. I turned to him and said.."IT'S NOT THE GUN DUDE!!!" RE: Do you love your 1911....this much? - BelieveIn308 - 04-26-2015 The R1 is truly just as accurate as the XDm .45 APC 5.25" barrel competition model I have. It's fit and finish are really outstanding and match or exceed many 1911's costing well over $1200. Anyone in the market for a 1911, would do well to consider the Remington R1 Enhanced. RE: Do you love your 1911....this much? - Karl B - 05-08-2015 That is some impressive ink. RE: Do you love your 1911....this much? - mikereddot - 05-09-2015 Nah, don't like them that much. RE: Do you love your 1911....this much? - BelieveIn308 - 05-22-2015 Rather than invest in the Ink, couldn't I wear dual shoulder holsters with two 1911's actually in them rather than the art? I like the ink, but I'd rather have the two 1911's... RE: Do you love your 1911....this much? - rwhite135 - 05-23-2015 If he had the money for that kind of ink, he probably has the 1911s, too. RE: Do you love your 1911....this much? - ssphoto - 07-06-2015 Yuck! I wouldn't lick my gun nor get ink to prove my "love". It'd be like getting a tat for a girlfriend you no longer have! |
