...because it makes illegal aliens nervous. Now they join with students wanting to ban it on UC-Irvine campus. This ticks me off! What is offensive is illegal aliens being allowed to attend a publicly funded, or any, school in the first place!

Illegal Aliens should be deported immediately without hearing. They should have any property confiscated they may possess. They should NEVER be allowed to own Real Estate or be allowed to Vote. Their countries government should be billed the cost of their deportation! Oh, wait, that is what Mexico does with Americans there illegally.
Deport them all. If the have an Anchor baby here, DEPORT the parents and allow the baby to stay. If the parents wish to take the baby with them, the baby can return at age 18, but the parents should be barred from ever entering the USA again.
These ILLEGALS are nothing more than THIEVES. They steal from the American Taxpayer. DEPORT them all.

Idiots who write with a thesaurus annoy the heck out of me.
Whoever wrote the letter is so clueless of the meaning of the words used they do not even know they are contradicting themselves.
xenophobia = intense or irrational dislike or fear of people from other countries.
Our flag had better intimidate other nations. We are not safe if it does not. That intimidation makes the other nation fearful (xenophobia), not us. First misuse of words.
Second misuse, nationalism has nothing to do with race. Almost every country on earth is a mixture of races. So to say nationalism and intimidating other countries has anything to do with race is so beyond idiotic it is sad to know these are "educators".
