I bought a Ruger SR9 for my first pistol, and now I'm planning on pursuing my CCW permit. However, I'm starting to wonder if this is going to be a problem to conceal carry. Obviously, I'm considering using this as a good excuse to buy another gun, but I haven't even broken this one in yet, and would like to get more use out of it, if possible.
Thoughts? Suggestions?

Like Sir Bradberry said, you'll have different guns for different dress. At this time of year, I've been wearing a big ole parka coat, and that allows me to carry a full size 4.5 XDm 45ACP. At the other extreme, I carry a Bodyguard 380 with a versaclip when wearing shorts, t-shirt and sandals. The rest of the year, I've got 3 other guns to carry depending on my dress.

If I am in a restaurant and the manager comes over and says customer so-and-so said she saw I had a gun and was offended. My response will be, "Well, I saw she had a purse, and I was offended. I guess that makes us even. And unlike her purse, I have a permit to carry mine."
