Me2
IVE HAD MANY GLOCKS, WHEN I GOT MY FIRST SPRINGFIELD, I KNEW THIS WAS MY NEW FAVORITE. IN MY OPINION, THE SPRINGFIELD FELLS BETTER IN MY HAND. I ALSO LIKE THE SAFTY FEATURES BETTER. I STILL WILL HAVE GLOCK AND BUY ANOTHER , IF THE DEAL IS GREAT.

Big Jack, I feel the same way about Glocks... To expensive for what they are. FInd a guy who has already bought one. He will have replaced the awful factory sights. He may even have had a gunsmith work on the awful factory triggers. And he may sell it for a reasonable price. But I think a SA XD series is better out of the box. We do live in a golden age of great firearms. I would not rule a Glock out, but buy used where these problems already fixed.

totally agree, I even did just that with one of mine. sights and trigger. it makes it a whole new gun. when I got my xd, I wondered why I ever put so much money in a glock. I had a PARA Ordinance 1445 custom, it was the sweetest thing ever. wish I never sold it. now this give away glock, I bet all the goodies have been done to it. would make a very nice gun to own.

RE: New Contest Give Away! Custom Glock 17 Gen 4! - BIG JACK - 06-23-2015

BelieveIn308, DO YOU KNOW IF I CAN GET MY TRIGGER DONE ON MY XDM .45?

RE: New Contest Give Away! Custom Glock 17 Gen 4! - David@reddot - 06-23-2015

Powder River Precision makes an excellent performance trigger for the XD/XDM. They're $135 and we can install them for about $80 depending on how much fitting is required. Let me know if you're interested.

I've tried to always get something I haven't had yet. I have had many different handguns. many different brands and models. I've had Glock the most and up until I got a Springfield, I though it was Glock forever. if you haven't shot or owned a Springfield, try it. shoot a buddies. you'll love it.

Something about the cutouts on this piece make it look mean as hell

I got to fondle it last week. It is a nice piece. I've never seen integrated optics on a handgun before.
