RE: Gun Safes - bradberry - 12-22-2014 Wish I had a basement. I would not settle on a safe rather a vault door. Just block up two sides and the edges for the vault door. This gives you a lot more room. RE: Gun Safes - ssphoto - 12-23-2014 I have a wall safe. Very little room but holds my pistols and other important items. I had to cut out a section of drywall to install it, which was an initial barrier for me. Works well. RE: Gun Safes - bradberry - 12-23-2014 My wife and want to get a wall safe and we have a perfect place for it. Talking to a locksmith the other day and he suggested taking stainless steel 1/4" thick and lacing the studs that surround the safe. That no one will be able to cut it out. We have yet to settle on a brand for the safe. RE: Gun Safes - ssphoto - 12-23-2014 (12-23-2014, 12:30 PM)bradberry Wrote: My wife and want to get a wall safe and we have a perfect place for it. I bought this one: Stack-On PWS-1522 Wall Safe with Electronic Lock http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000VS0I1C/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 RE: Gun Safes - bradberry - 12-23-2014 Is it deep enough? |
