The thing that's nice about the v2 is that Century went with a standard AKM rear instead of the typical milled receiver rear end. This allows for many more stock options than what are available with the v1. You may have to do a little filing here and there but that's typical with any AK. With the v1 you have to break out the Dremel or an angle grinder and get to doing heavy modifications with most stocks. The new Magpul stocks, for example, are a (insert word that begins with "b" and rhymes with witch) to get on a v1, but are a simple bolt on replacement for the v2.

I will post pics of it when I get it, and as I change things, if I do. The first of the magazines arrived today.

The new Magpuls are out in 7.62x39mm and are much better than the Gen 1 as expected.

Ok, I have some comments on the AK magazines I like best. I have tried like 14 brands. These are the ones I like best. For Steel, you cannot beat the Gibbs Matra magazines, real tanks (Cheaper than Dirt, $14). The US Palm AK30 are really nice too, lighter, polymer mags that function well (Atlantic Firearms, $22), and I like to say AK Ultimag's work really well too (AK Operators Union, $22). Just my observations.
