Its more of a need of respect. Gun control does not apply in this cause. Those guns used are most likely stolen and got into the wrong hands. Shooting a police officer is one thing but execution is another thing.
When you hear about executions in gang shootings. You know that someone messed up...badly. In this cause, its a total disrespect for the law.

Sort of like the Illinois teacher's union complaining about the politicians they endorsed stealing their pension money.
After him there should be a petition for Obama. Did you see him talk about this like he spoke about Ferguson. Oh that's right he had nothing to say about two officers getting executed.
