I like the idea but don't think its practical. I think people would obsess over how dirty their guns were after every shot. Even clean, I bet it would be tough keeping that clear and not turn cloudy over time.

I love stuff like this. For a new gun owner like myself, understanding everything about how a gun works makes me feel more comfortable with it. And I think that comfort level translates to safety when I am practicing with it.

This forum has a wealth of information on weapons, history and lore. Plus it has good natured ribbing on even the most well respected guns. And besides, I gotta like a guy with Ruger logo as his moniker!
