Me too... And he did it with Iron sights. If never ceases to amaze me that when you go to the range and guys will miss a target with a scoped rifle in nearly ideal conditions at 100 yards. These shooters are at least familiar with their weapons and shooting at NON-MOVING targets. I still use iron sights on some guns, even with my eyes not being anywhere near as good as they once were.
That is what makes this guys historical feat even more incredible. Thanks for the article. And for a more Modern era sniper, I suggest you read Chris Kyle's American Sniper, although it is a story of Navy Seal training too.

I have a Mosin 91/30 and put a scope on it, but not the historical one. I find it is harder to shoot on target with the scope than without, doing better with iron sites.
