Ok, this is the best RDA class I have taken to date. A lot of material is covered in the class, and for someone not very familiar with shotguns, it was very informative. The best part is all toys we were allowed to actually see, and play with. Make no mistake this is a hands on class, with plenty of shooting. I brought my own 870, and fired two others as well. The class was held at the Silver Lake Sportsman's club (they even allow flatlanders), and the class was held in their clubhouse. Fine and gracious Hosts. Every question from the group was fielded by Steve New and answers and his insights in use was provided. We knocked a lot of clay pigeons out of the sky as a group. Safety of course was taught and practiced. Proper stance and advice on holding various shotguns was provided, like your father would a son.
I really enjoyed this class, and I am sure everyone else did as well. Kudos to Steve, RDS and the Silver Lake Sportsman's club for the training!
