Ok, this is the best RDA class I have taken to date. A lot of material is covered in the class, and for someone not very familiar with shotguns, it was very informative. The best part is all toys we were allowed to actually see, and play with. Make no mistake this is a hands on class, with plenty of shooting. I brought my own 870, and fired two others as well. The class was held at the Silver Lake Sportsman's club (they even allow flatlanders), and the class was held in their clubhouse. Fine and gracious Hosts. Every question from the group was fielded by Steve New and answers and his insights in use was provided. We knocked a lot of clay pigeons out of the sky as a group. Safety of course was taught and practiced. Proper stance and advice on holding various shotguns was provided, like your father would a son.

I really enjoyed this class, and I am sure everyone else did as well. Kudos to Steve, RDS and the Silver Lake Sportsman's club for the training!
I totally agree Ringo, the class was great. Steve put on another great class and I learned a ton. All the time on the range was great. For being a first time shotgun shooter I really respect how hard it is to shoot flying clay. Devil

Many thanks to RDA, Steve, sorry forgot the name (gentlemen helping Steve) and the Silver Lake Sportsman's club for the training!
I saw some really interesting shotguns too... The one that really caught my eye was the Remington SPR153, made by Baikal. Sure looked like a sweet semi-auto. So many different shotguns. Extra Kudos to Steve and Mike for bringing such a large selection!
This is the hang fire video Steve mentioned in class

I also have a couple of pictures of us right before the last round of shooting that I'll put up later. And that video is crazy! That dudes pretty lucky
Why in the hell would you look down a barrel on a loaded gun.

I wish I had taken more pictures... But those are the best I have
Looks like a good time I may.need to catch the next one
I think it's sage to say we'd all recommend it. It was a fun class to take, and it was nice having the classroom portion broken up a bit by some shooting and lunch. All to be finished up with a little bit of extra shooting!
Glad you enjoyed it. It's a really good class.
