Do you guys prefer shooting with one eye or both? For trap I like to use 1 eye and for skeet I like to use both. Does anyone has a preference.

I have no choice to shoot with one, or i have to put tape on my glasses on the left side (non dominant) as I'm very cross eyed dominant. If I don't, all I see is the side of the barrel.

I know how to check right or left eye dominance, is there a certain way that's best to learn to aim on a shotgun? Like for self defense with a handgun I know it's preferred both eyes open (if you can).. But having just acquired my first shotgun this intrigues me. I'm sure all that I am wondering about will be covered in the class coming up, but I'd like to go in with questions in my mind!
