Now I just want one so I can see where I'd be hitting...
Were you using the standard FMJ re-manufactured ammo from RDA? and did you have a problem with the casings sticking in it? From the reviews I've watched with some ammo the casings will stick in there and you have to push them out because they expand and the ejector can't push strong enough

Certain ammo seems to be more temperamental than others about that. Almost all the .22's stick pretty terribly.

That seems to be what I've been seeing. Just post of the territory I guess. If you find good ammo that doesn't stick then awesome! But so far when I get one I'll just plan on it not wanting to come out

Have you checked out those "double tap" guns yet? They are like modern day derringers. I have not heard of any extraction issues with them yet.

I've seen it, but I honestly forgot to look into it. They're a bit more pricy right? I was just looking them up a little bit, at least in Google images and they seem pretty cool

Not terribly pricey, but what I will say is that they are larger in person than what they make them look like in pictures.

If I remember right you guys have one there right? I'll take a look at it when the shotgun I ordered comes in. Take a couple notes between the two and see what I like!

Did you have a chance to look at Derringers yet?

Not gonna lie, I went in there last night to pick up my shotgun but was to excited to get it back home and forgot entirely about them till I was home. Haha but I have to head back to pick up a bore snake for the shotty that I forgot to get, so I'll check them out when I swing back in there. I've been looking them up online a lot but that only goes so far when you can't hold one...

So I was fiddling with the derringer a little yesterday, I liked the little guys. Still made me rethink what size caliber I would like it in. But I'd still probably go with the 9mm. Has anyone shot that and an XDs .45 to compare recoil? Lol
And I was talking with Nicole for too long to look at the double tap so I'll try that another day, but it is bigger in real life than they make it out to be in the pictures. I haven't had a chance to look into it much, so I'll do that and then come back to hold it for a minute!
Overall I still liked the idea of getting one..

The problem with the derringers is the handle size. Pretty hard to hold on to.
