I want a back up bolt gun. It will be .308. I have kind of decided on one of these two as I don't want to spend a fortune. The Mossberg uses standard PMags (a huge plus), but has a 16.25" barrel (a minus). The Savage has the better accutrigger and longer barrel (20"), but has a known issue with magazines being awful and subject to failure. Both have Peep sights which I like.

So what do you guys think? Chime in please with your opinions.
