A striker fired single stack? Have you seen one?
Don't want to sound like a smart *****, but....

in stock means we have it.

XDS from springfield, cw9 from karh, nano from beretta, g42 from glock, diamond back 9mm, we have them all
OK... I must be dense... I see the LC9, but not the new LC9S, striker fired version...

What am I missing? Or did I misread the Ruger ad and there is just an LC9 and not an all NEW LC9S?
We do not have the LC9s yet, but yep they are striker fired guns.
Well when you have one in stock let me know. I'd be interested in seeing it.
Can do!
OK, I have purchased one, and will pick it up Sunday and take to my church, St. McMiller on Sunday, and test it out. I have dry fired it and it seems like a really nice trigger. From my research about the only thing I see negative to say is the take down for cleaning. It has a pin to punch out to remove the slide. I will do a review on the gun after I put a couple hundred rounds through it. If I hate it, I guess I will own my first Glock. But the LC9s is a lot cheaper.

likewise
Ok, I have now fired about 180 rounds through the pistol. It does go bang every time. It had no ammo problems with 4 different brands (Federal, Winchester, Fiocchi and American Eagle) It also worked fine with some 147gr. PDX1. I have tried both the 7 round clip it comes with and the 9rd extended clip (which my buddies said really fit their bigger hands way better). The pistol was accurate. I was on target throughout the range time. The one thing that takes a little getting used to is the quicker trigger reset. I did try 2 quick shots in a row. Very easy to stay on target. Gun seems quieter than normal. All in all the pistol functioned flawlessly. I took it home and popped out the pin to clean it, and it was surprisingly clean. You have to pop out a pin to disassemble it. Not really an issue, but if you had this in the field you might find it is , especially if the pin gets lost.

All in all I think Ruger has a winner here. At a $150 less than a Glock, it is a steal. The only thing that nags at me is if the reliablity will hold up. So far zero issues, but the gun is new, and has no reputation yet. I will update this when I put a 1000 rds through it. But so far I like it. When I first bought it, I thought I might have to sell it or trade it for a Glock. So at this point I am still Glock free!
Good to hear, thanks for the update Ken!
can't wait to have a range, that way all you guys can let me shoot these great guns. Smile
Mike, I already told you need to get out to actually shoot more! Any gun I have you are always welcome to shoot. As long as you tell me what you really think of the guns and setups I'm happy! Besides, I might learn something and improve my skills just watching.

And anytime you want to go to McMiller, I can meet ya there! Range time is always better with friends!
I can't see having the time anytime soon.
You guys need a "Get the Boss to the Range Day"! You'd be surprised how much less cranky he can be after he plinks for a few hours... LOL
They tried Smile
I picked one of these up a few weeks ago and have to say I am real happy with it. After probably 400-500 rounds through it already I have yet to have a single misfire.

Thanks, that will really help our website.
