The Truth About How Many Americans Are Living on Less Than $2 a Day
I have mixed opinions about this article. If someone on poverty has a cell phone (You can have one for free or prepay), DVD, or computers... it might be because these are families who could afford one in the past, that have no means to get a new one now. Jobless rates are not dropping, because the true picture is, they have given up after years of looking. The "hand up" is now becoming a necessity for day to day life. Yes, I know that there are some who are playing the system, but instead of looking at poverty as laziness, try to find out what is really happening in a situation. Democrats are winning this war, because most republican's are looking down their noses at those who really need assistance.
