Tragic, my hearts goes out to all that are affected. I have a kid in HS and it makes me sick even to think about it.

I don't know what else is to be expected in victim disarmament zones, where the killers know they will not be met with equal force. Tragic.
one thing i tell people is that YES these events are tragic but when someone tries to tell me they happen to often i have to reply with the numbers. we have a huge populace and we should consider ourselves lucky these things don't happen once a week if not more. i feel for the victims and their families but when people start blaming firearms i have to take a firm stance on the issue. if it wasn't a gun it would have been some other method of violence.

like what RJD said, it doesnt help that these people know they will get no fight when they pick these gun free zones as targets. its common sense. the things most politicians seem to lack.
"Politicians" and "common sense" don't belong in the same sentence. Smile
Oregon allows concealed carry in schools. This was tied to gang activity.
oh, bad guys with guns. Nothing new there uh?
The sucky part of this is that the Dem's now control Oregon (once again) and the MORONS re-elected a DS of a Governor. The only good side is that we do love our guns here in Oregon and we have some good Dem's that also love their guns.
God bless brother. We in Illinois are in the same fight.
Only two things my guns HATE! Rust and Politicians!
