On gun control: Will Paul Ryan's bite match his bark?

Well, we will see! It is clear that Obama hasn't gotten everything he wanted by signing so many executive orders, but I'm pretty disappointed how much the Republicans have let through in a majority. I think if they stick with the second, a majority of people in the USA favor the second amendment, even though they may not want to own one themselves. They want you to have it to protect them! I would have answered yes two years ago, now I just don't know.

I guess you can say that the two party system is now a single party system. Or that while the DNC holds together the RNC has completely fragmented

The "fragmentation" has been going since Goldwater, which is just a battle between conservatives and moderates.

What we have today is the moderates think they can just ignore conservatives, and the conservatives realize that maybe we need to destroy the party to fix it.
I agree that it has been going on for a while. Now it seems like things have really become a lot worse.
