BREAKING: Gov. Dan Malloy unconstitutionally bans gun sales to Connecticut citizens on ‘watch lists.’

'“If you cannot fly due to being on a watch list, you shouldn’t be able to purchase a firearm.” said [Dan] Malloy. …Left unsaid is the minor little detail that the ‘watch lists’ in question are, to put it extremely charitably, a grab-bag of dubious sources, better-safe-than-sorries, genuine bad actors who are nonetheless not being prosecuted right now, and people whose stupid faces annoyed a government bureaucrat. But this is how politicians on the Other Side act: Something must be done. This is something. Therefore, it must be done."
But, more importantly, the No Fly watch list has put thousands of people on its list for reasons of mere suspicion alone – it is not based upon past crimes or direct accusations based on evidence. The practices for being added to the list are secretive, and there is virtually no way of appealing, or being taken off the list. That is despite the fact that many of the people on the no fly list – who have been barred from getting on a plane and traveling – are on the list simply because they share a last name with a suspect, or a similar name.

Using this No Fly list to bar people from buying a gun – a constitutionally protected right – is compounding that problem and denying due process to Americans.
absolutely!
Let's not forget that our recently departed Sen. Ted Kennedy was stopped several times at the airport because he was on the no-fly list, so anyone can get on it.
Its a shame he wasn't on the no-drive list.
