Women wearing a burqa will be fined £6,500 in Switzerland after local referendum to bring in the rule

Even though in America, we don't want to take away religious freedom from the government... there HAS TO BE limits.

Without the Burqa, women in this culture are subject to being raped and murdered. Even if they have it on... they are subject to these things. This isn't a garb of modesty, it is an object of shame to women and an object that can be used to hide whatever they want and are trained to do.

It is time to stop apologizing for discriminating against a religion that refuses to live peaceably with ANY other religion or people and that believes in the barbaric law of Sharia.

Ironically, we don't have to be friends with a people that want to kill us and our families, just for existing. Please, someone tell the government that!!!

I agree! Hey, if you don't want to live by Western values, then f-in leave! God! I hate those folks that come to a western nation with the knowledge they can practice a religion freely, then expect that host country to change. As soon as that conflicts with the standard values of the indigenous society or the laws of the land, you KNOW which should take precedence. I saw that video on another post about the "zombielike" hoards of refugees heading thru Greece and into Europe, looting, beating people, shouting anti-west slogans, etc. Now, I know some of that might video be highly biased or even concocted, but anyone refugees that do that kind of stuff should be rounded up and send packing. I think Germany and the rest are in over their heads already and refuse to admit it. More to come on that I guess. Sh-t storm coming, IMO.

So, good for Switzerland. Someone with the cahones to stand up and value their culture as it is, not what it could become.
