This might be old new, but still a good article.
Texas Open Carry starts Jan 1st.

I would prefer conceal carry as the most sense, but I'm intrigued. Time to go to Texas for a look see!

Good to hear about Texas. Hope more states loosen up on the firearms laws. Open carry is still not for me unless I was on my own property.

BTW: Wisconsin has had open carry for a long time without a permit.

Pennsylvania,my home state, and West Virginia, where I live now, are both open carry states. In WV you can open carry at age 16 if you're on private property that you have a legal right to be on, ie. not trespassing.

I would do both given the choice.
