Well, at dinner last night the wife gave me permission to put together a AR10. A close friend of ours wanted to get one and I suggested that he start with his first build and he agreed only if I will assist. I agreed and the wife agreed to let me build one along with his build. Now the issue is, will it fit in the safe? Oh heck yeah I can make room some how......hmmmmm
Always great when the wife is on board.
I'd be interested in the trade off's you guys make! Will this be a for long range? or a harder hitting AR15 type? Let us know the trade off's you make! Weight, Budget, Mission, etc...
Very cool, keep us posted on the build progress.

I think this will be more long range. looking at barrels now. Going to wait closer to the end of the year to see who releases the bargains. I was leaning more towards a cerakoted FDE upper and lower but I am still out to vote.
Hey having the wife on board makes for a smooth build.... I just built one for a customer of mine and I went with Anderson manufacturer billet upper and lower. It's a real tight fit. No rattle just a suggestion. Post pics as you go would love to watch the monster come alive.

I used Anderson on 3 of my AR15's and Aero on the others. There was a shotgun news article that rated Anderson at the #2 spot as far as quality.
They are really good quality receivers. Idk about there barely I haven't used one yet. But hope to eventually.
