Wow, nice rifles! Must be a joy a shoot.
Didnt know they did thatBig Grin
Sweet rifles! thanks for sharing
Very nice, what caliber are they?
The Ruger SR-762 is .308
The Colt LE6920 is 5.56
I was looking that ruger up a little bit this morning after you mentioned it on the other thread. I didn't recognize it at first but I do like that. The coming months of researching and saving will tell where I wind up... I'll be looking for everybody's opinion along the way!

The Ruger is not cheap, about 1600 out the door. It is piston Driven, which means it stays way cleaner, and IMHO will run longer and be more reliable in a SHTF scenario. It's also way lighter than any other common .308 semi-auto magazine fed rifles I have seen. It also uses LR/SR 308 magazines which my DPMS also uses. I love the rifle. I did however, replace the trigger (Geissele SSA-e), as most stock rifles today have awful, military triggers.
And Ringo, if you ever want to meet at McMiller and shoot the Ruger SR762 let me know... Smile It's become one of my favorites...
Those are awesome! Hoping to get one similar in the near future!
JFERGUS7, I make the same offer to you... If you'd like to meet at McMiller sometime, I'd be happy to let you try out the Ruger...
That would be awesome! I would love to try that out we will have to get that planned soon! Thanks!
I'd be a fool to turn down that offer! We can talk about it possibly at the shotgun class tomorrow and see how that goes
Make sure you post your experience of that shotgun class in the training section. Also, you all should consider taking the Refuse to be a victim class. It's our cheapest class, and I think it's one of the best classes.
Sure why not... It's probably a great class to make oneself more aware of your surroundings. I have that and the In/Out of the home self defense classes on my list.
I'll for sure give my two cents on it. But I'll look into that class as well and see if we can make it!
Refuse to be a victim is a must class.
Nice rifles.
Nice rigs and love the parody!
