The helicopters are all over the fox lake area. On both sides. Police are out in force. I hope they spare us a trial...

I've been following all day and I'm sad they haven't caught up to these fools... I've heard of so many anti police and derogatory comments today.. I hope they get wrecked. either legally or otherwise, but examples need to be made.

Ringo, when did these socialist scum turn on America? The Police are the good guys. The scum that chant 'pig in a blanket, fry them like bacon' need to be gone from our society. They are like rabid dogs. What do we do with these democrats?

Anyone that feels the need to not support our police should feel free to never ask for police assistance again. Your house is robbed? sorry the police cant help, you were assaulted? oh sorry the police cant help. The police in Baltimore have essentially gone "GALT" and the crime rates have soared. What do these people want?

These are the same type of scum that are telling cops in Texas that they're going to sneak up on them from the shadows. It's time to lock and load. Shoot first and then ask questions if you value your life. Remember Farrakhan isn't just saying to do this to cops...

I'm confused about this whole thing. They've been continually mentioning that this was a traffic stop. If so, why has there been no further mention of the killers' vehicle?

Did the killers escape in it? In that case, they could be anywhere by now.

If not, if the vehicle was left at the scene, that *might* ID at least one of the killers. At least there'd be prints.

No dashcam?

Someone else mentioned to me that it was a burglary in progress. There'd still be a vehicle, no?

Anyone have further details?

I suspect that is was not a routine traffic stop. The officer would not abandon his car for a foot chase. More likely a break in at a Marina, trying to steal a boat or burglary gone wrong, with the getaway driver just taking off. If the suspects stole a car, the police probably know about it, I am sure if a train commuter reported his car stolen there would be an APB out on it. The could be holed up if they were locals or they could be still out there. If they were smart they would split up and clean up. And try to melt into the local area. They could also have made for the state park nearby and act like campers... Until someone came to pick them up.

They will get caught. Hopefully someone will remember something and come forward.

Is anyone going tonight? I am thinking about it. My buddy just called and said it is a madhouse already.

He was on his way to work when he called in the suspects. They left the scene on foot.

Lots of activity on the scanner right now at 12 & 120 in Volo!

After digging around, I discovered this was not a traffic stop, after all.

No it wasn't. The men were on foot in an area where the were problems in the past. The scanner traffic last night was a new search around 12 and 120 based on what turned out to be a false report. That attention seeker is being charged with a felony count of disorderly conduct and a misdemeanor for submitting a false report.
