Just not sure it will fit in the garage.

"For Sale: Fully Operational Main Battle Tank with 120mm Live Cannon"

That is just what every prepper group needs... But I didn't see the mileage sticker... I'm not sure I can afford to fill the gas tank. And the drive home could get expensive!

Of course, the People's Republic of Illinois does not allow anything greater 120mm guns, or machine guns...
Im sure I could probably get an FFL transfer easier than permission from my home owners association to park it in my driveway. Of course I have to point out that the Chieftain was the main British army tank for many decades.
We get tickets for parking our cars in the street... I wonder what they'd say if I parked this beauty on the center island...
I can see pulling up at the DVM for your driver's test in it... Or asking the clerk what kind of plate you need for it... But if someone beeps their horn at you, I'd love to swing the turret around and yell, "Applogize"...
That's a steal at $250,000. Unlike you lot, I wouldn't have any issues with parking or home owners associations since I live out in the woods. My problem is a lack of funds or it would be sitting in my yard.
If we all club together with $50 each, could we park it on your property RWhite135?
I don't think $50 a piece would cut it mate. If we could raise the funds the parking would be for free but you'd have to come to West Virginia to play with it. ;)
Haha if all I had to do was chip in a couple bucks, I'd totally drive to Virginia twice a year to play with a tank.. Haha I have a few friends or that way anyway.

West Virginia would be a better playground than all the flat land here in Illinois.
YOU GUYS GET IT, WE CAN PARK IT HERE AT RED DOT ARMS.

Believe it or not, I asked permission about parking such things before I first signed my lease. LOL
Hahaha perfect! Now just for the funding...
When the gun range gets built it would be a great attraction parked out front.

Yes, but does Illinois allow working 120mm cannons? West Virginia does. ;)
No, unfortunately it would be illegal to own in the people's republic... Sad, although I would need a lot more ammo, and I am sure those 120mm rounds cost a lot... And say nothing about finding a range to practice with them... On the plus side is the LOW, LOW FFL transfer fee that RDA would charge, only $25, and $15 for each additional Chieften you buy...

I'd love to see the troopers come and take it away Smile
