So I am finishing up a 16" build and I bought a Diamond Series Handguard from YHM. I installed it (dry fit) and now I don't like it. I already have one on another 16" build and I though I would really like it. Now I am searching for a new one to replace this one. I am also going to be searching for one for a 10" build. Any suggestions on some different HG's out there. The 16" build needs to be FDE and 15" long.
For the 10" I would go with a Magpul MOE hanguard. While I'm admittedly not an AR guy, a friend has an AR SBR and the MOE handguard on his is perfect for it. Another guy and gal I know like the full length handguards from Troy on their carbine length ARs. That's about all the help I can be on this topic.

I like the Troy Alpha and I bought one of them for a build that I sold. It is a nice HG.

I saw this one on one of my brothers rifles and it sure was sweet. It is a carbon fiber made by Lancer Systems:

I just picked up this one. It just arrived today. I have not installed it yet.
I am replacing a 6 inch quad rail. I want to be able to extend my reach past the front site, and I want to keep the standard front site. I like the cleaner lines as opposed to a full quad rail, and you can add rails if you want.
It's a Troy Delta VTAC.

That's one of the reasons I went with the Magpul MOE AK handguard on my C39. I don't need a bunch of rails and can just those I want. I would have went with the Magpul Zhukov if I wouldn't have had to cut off the handguard retaining bracket.
Speaking of Magpul, from the looks of those slots it looks like it's M-Lok compatible. Is that correct?
