Welcome to the board.
I am interested in that as well. I don't know if you are quite experience or not with AR's in general, but Red Dot is putting on AR-15 classes right now. There are 35 hours total over several classes and each is offered several times.
I am using that combined with watching the Brownell's how to build series of videos and the ones on Midway USA.
When I get ready to build I want to make decisions on the options based on my preferences, but I don't have any preferences right now.
Robb Briggs is teaching the classes, and you won't find a better AR instructor.

Welcome to the forum. I have never taken a class in AR Building but the one offered by Red Dot would be nice to sit through. I have built several AR's and I am still adding to my collection. Easy to dress up and fun to shoot. No doubt that you will enjoy the subject matter.
