I am curious if anyone has tried this ammo yet? I purchased a box last week in 9mm and in both my Taurus PT92 and my Ruger LC9S they constantly jam. Anyone have any experience with it or had a similar problem?
I have purchased and carrying it. The only 9mm that did not jam my M&P. Works in my P938 too but everything works in that gun. My M&P did not like the Sig Sauer ammo (4 FTF out of 10 tries) and had an issue with the Liberty Civil Defense ammo (1 FTF out of 10 tries).
Well it didn't work on either of my 9mm's so I am going to have to go shopping for something else I guess.
Had no issues with it in either one of my Glocks.
Rechecked and found that what I ran through my guns was the Hornady Custom 124 gr XTP, so not the Critical Duty.
Try the federal hst.. I've seen some videos covering all kinds of ammo from short 9mm barrels. I believe it was a sig.. And the federal hst pretty much blew all the others away
I have critical duty in my XDs 45... But I want to get hst for that to. I was just trying to see if I could find anyone that has done a review on it yet, especially out of a short barrel 45.
I shoot the Winchester Train and Defend and have not had any issues.
Tried the Hornady CD in 9mm last night and had no issues. The Sig P938 worked fine as usual. My picky M&P has the Storm Lake 9mm conversion barrel in and really needs to be cleaned and it had no issues either.
I have not had any issues with the Hornady Critical Duty ammo in my Ruger LC9S... So far it has had no issues with whatever ammo I have put through it either ball or hollow points. Probably have tried over a dozen different types easily.

My experience has been ANY gun, even of the same make and model may not like a particular ammo type. The same can be said for a magazine. If you have a weapon that has multiple issues with different brands of ammo, change out the magazine FIRST and see it the problem persists. Check the gun carefully to see if it has any unusual wear marks, also. And if all else fails, have a gunsmith look at it, or just buy ammo you know it likes.
I don't have a 9mm so can't comment on that caliber but the CD works fine in my USP 40.
I should also say that my previous comment was referring to ballistics gelatin tests.. I haven't had a problem with any of them actually running through my pistols so far!
I use it no issues. I use the + p 9mm,10mm,40,and 45. Can't beat the reliability and price.

Cleaned both guns and seems to be working better.
