Hi all,

I know we've all touched this topic on and off over the last few months, and some talk about going together as a group. I myself was interested in going this Spring for the first time. Is anyone else keen on committing to a specific day to go as a group?

Likely times for me are:

April 26th Sunday
May 9th Saturday
April 23/24th
April 30th
With some planning, I could potentially go on a Friday if that works better.

We could all meet up at Red Dot to make sure we have a common spot we know as well as stock up on any ammo we need.

I'm kind of liking the may 9th, but what time are you thinking about going?

I'd guess it would be a near all day event, so probably meet at 8 or 9AM, the drive may take an hour or so, spend 2-3 hours there at least, then head back. Probably get back by 3-4PM? Flexible. I'm not sure I could afford to shoot too much ammo so some time would be spend watching others shoot, etc. Possibly share weapons. I've never fired an AK before, so that would be fun.

I'll be happy to trek on up there As for Thursday, make sure they open.

Yeah, they are only open Friday, Saturday,& Sunday at the moment. I can't remember when they start opening the rest of the week.

yeah I'd really only have a handful of ammo for my shotty n pistols. but I'd probably be down for a trip up there depending when and if my girlfriend can watch our puppy for the day!

Was at McMillers on Sunday! What a nice day for shooting, brought up my Remington R1E and XDm .45ACP's. And the Ruger GS rifle... It was a fun day! If the weather is nice, I will go again next Sunday, to St. McMiller. A day at the Range is better than a day at Work... I need to combine the two!
